FulflexFulflex for Plates and Sleeves

Laserflex® flat plates are available in a variety of structures and gauges:

Laserflex® FP2001

Laserflex® FP2001 is the first of a new generation of flexographic plate material to follow the successful FP5001. FP2001 material is specifically designed for process printing but also delivers excellent transfer, durablility and stability, making a superior plate for line-work as well as process print.

Laserflex® FP5001

Laserflex® FP5001 is a multi-layer polymeric blend flexographic plate material, which is designed for direct imaging on a high-speed laser. It gives you excellent ink transfer characteristics, dimensional stability and durability, which offers cost savings to printers.

Laserflex® FP5100

Laserflex® FP5100 is a multi-layer polymeric plate material that is designed specifically for the corrugated industry. The material provides excellent ink transfer, sharp reverses and great durability.

About Laserflex® Seamless Covered Sleeves

You now have the opportunity to have your specified sleeves covered with a high-performance polymer compound. All Laserflex® faces are developed by Fulflex engineers specifically to optimize Laser engraving technology. Direct laser ablation (removal of relief area by Laser energy) is truly a one-step digital process, unlike other methods, which require very careful handling, exposure, chemical processing and drying. Some of the advantages seamless sleeve imaging can provide to you are:

  • Precision gauges without breaks for faster press speeds and no bounce.
  • Eliminates mounting, which results in timesaving.
  • Precision registration.
  • Reduces make-ready time.
  • Laser sharp imaging for excellent dropouts, fine type and highlight dots.
  • Excellent ink transfer for better coverage and better ink densities.
  • Compatible with ink and solvent systems.
  • Eliminates cupping.
  • Easy to clean.
  • Environmentally friendly (no chemicals involved in producing plates).
  • Durable in transit and storage.
